Event description: 

Join us the week of Oct 6th for the Sustainability Week Book Swap. This is your chance to refresh your bookshelves at home. Bring in books you’ve read or would love to pass on, browse the volumes brought in by your friends and colleagues, and take home some new-to-you books. A cart will be designated at the following library locations across campus. For building hours please check https://web.library.yale.edu/buildings

The swap promotes sustainability by finding new homes for used books, reducing waste, and offering free reading material to the Yale and New Haven communities. At the end of the week, unclaimed books will be donated to local organizations.

We do not accept any of the following:
• Reference books like encyclopedias, thesauruses, atlases, dictionaries, etc.
• Magazines
• Textbooks
• Audiovisual materials like VHS or cassette tapes
• Books in poor condition (e.g. moldy, waterlogged, etc.).

Register and receieve a reminder the week before to bring in your books
