Want to improve traffic safety in New Haven and beautify a neighborhood? Help repaint the 14 bollards installed at York & S. Frontage and York & MLK Jr Blvd. The painting design planned is modeled on a striped barber’s pole, based on the fascinating history betwen barbers and the practice of medicine and the proximity to Yale New Haven Hospital and Yale Medical School.
Work on the project will be Saturday October 8 and Sunday October 9, 9:00 am - 12:00 pm each day. Register for an hour or a whole morning by emailing abigail.roth@yale.edu. Feel free to sign up a friend or family member too. It will be fun!
